There is nothing more I love than a good sample sale. Seriously, the feeling of a sample sale...the rush, the craziness, the excitement, I mean, it's the best feeling ever! And of course, the feeling of getting something amazing at crazy discounted prices, I felt like such a winner walking out of that building.  

Well, we've officially had our first hiccup! Remember a few posts back, we shared our fabric shopping trip to LA? The one that was pretty overwhelming and a little stressful?  

Pattern making! OMG!! Our designs have finally been passed on to the pattern maker! So the next step is to get our fabrics to him and he'll begin to create our first set of samples! How exciting, right! I mean, we are so close to finally seeing our designs come to life, this is so unreal! 

We finally got to do some serious fabric shopping and the experience was so exciting but so overwhelming. 

Now that the real work has begun, so has the balance between being a momma and mompreneur. It's easy to just turn the TV on and get work done while Mila's watching Daniel Tiger and Mickey Mouse, but I start to feel bad. I don't know why, but I feel like I need to constantly be entertaining her, which can be draining.
